Building upon research combining mathematics, art, and modern object making, ‘touch down’ is a range of ‘moments’ where light touches “woven” paper.  Using numerical algorithms, paper strips are mechanically cut and “knitted”. Under patient hands, paper, with its humble but expressive translucent quality, they become a precise distillation of something which nevertheless will always be ephemeral – light and hope.
